Job Purpose

The Product Manager will work across function to refine and develop and manage the product lifecycle for a dynamic service business. Responsibilities include working with Clients, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Alliances to develop an overall approach to new product development, then development, assessment and refinement of new and existing products and services.


Developing new products and services, working with internal and external resources setting short-term and long-term goals. Reviewing success of new and existing products and services and working to improve commercial outcomes and client success.

You will be a highly motivated, flexible, energetic, and intelligent individual who has proven experience of an MSP and service business, focused on Microsoft technologies.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document a Product and Service development approach
  • Manage the product and service development lifecycles
  • Develop new products and services with CSO, Operations, Marketing, Alliances and Sales, to meet business objectives
  • Define and execute Product and Service KPIs and KSFs to support business plan
  • Undertake market research and develop product and service roadmaps
  • Accelerate creation of new products and services, develop early success and growth
  • Develop and maintain value propositions, commercial strategies and approaches for new service and products
  • Support Sales and Marketing with early-stage development of messaging of product and services
  • Create informal internal networks with sales and delivery team members to drive continuous feedback loops and continuous product & service improvement opportunities
  • Drive verticalization of new & existing offering development
  • Facilitate innovation using and championing modern ways of working adopting standard principles of iteration, fail fast, test & prove.
  • Ability to get stuff done in a matrix environment will be a key skill for this role.

Personal Spec: Essential

  • Experience of implementing a Product Lifecycle strategy into a services business
  • Experienced Product Manager within the tech industry, ideally with Microsoft technology
  • Strategic thinker able to achieve outcomes and motivate people
  • Client focused and able to develop new products and services
  • Creating client journeys, tracking sales, repeat business, and product performance over time
  • Interviewing clients and product owners for market insight.
  • Analytical mind, developing surveys and questionnaires for clients and partners to assess performance
  • Passionate and demonstrate an attention to detail
  • Operate with senior leaders with confidence and, ability to make concise business case to support recommendations
  • BSc or MSc


  • Story telling skills
  • Experience within start-up, or rapid growth org
  • Excellent connections with and knowledge of Microsoft
  • Agile skills and experience
  • MSP, MSSP and Security Knowledge
  • CSPO or similar accreditation
  • Active participation in Product meetup type sessions and commitment to Continuous Personal Development
